About our Products
The Heartland Spa uses an exclusive line of skin care products extensively researched by our salon professionals. Your facial products will be custom selected by our experts for your skin type and may improve the texture, clarity and elasticity of your skin in just two to three weeks. Our line of skin care is naturally derived from plants and minerals and all products are “drug free” as well as “cruelty free”.
POWER “C” PARAFFIN FACIAL * $110
The combination of our vitamin C serum and warm paraffin wax provides the most powerful restorative treatment for your skin to lighten pigmentation such as age spots, sun spots and uneven skin tones, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Your cosmetologist will apply several layers of the paraffin wax. Each new layer warms the previous, which opens your pores and infuses the vitamin C serum into your skin. The resulting masque is an anti-aging revelation as it helps your skin fight free radicals to prevent future damage. Nourishing and hydrating, it is an ideal facial treatment for all skin types.
DETOXIFYING HERBAL DUO $150.00
In this double indulgence you will receive our Natural European Facial while basking in a luxurious Herbal Body Wrap. Warm oils are applied from the neck down, followed by a detoxifying herbal exfoliation. This unique blend of Chinese herbs not only hydrates your skin, but stimulates the lymphatic and circulatory systems to rid the body of toxins. While the nutrients of the herbs permeate your skin in the body wrap, your cosmetologist will perform your Natural European Facial. A harmonious treatment that will detoxify, relax, cleanse and refine your entire body.
NATURAL EUROPEAN FACIAL $65
A surface cleansing, using products with ingredients such as chamomile and balm mint. Includes a mild exfoliation, a facial massage and a nurturing masque specifically selected for your skin.
MEN'S BASIC MAINTENANCE FACIAL $65
An invigorating treatment designed especially for our male guests. This facial includes a mild exfoliation with steam, a facial massage and the application of a nourishing masque with our exclusive line of men’s skin care products.
HONEY MUD FACIAL* $85
Revive your skin with this deep-pore cleansing facial, using ultra luxurious "mud" created from natural mineral clays blended with aloe vera and honey. This treatment is perfect for combination skin. The mud not only removes congestion from the oily areas of the face, but also rehydrates the areas that are too dry.
HEARTLAND'S SIGNATURE HYDRATING SOY FACIAL* $90
Our signature facial uses extracts of an essential, multi-faceted plant. The soy plant, grown in the very farmlands surrounding the spa, is the core of the Illinois agriculture industry. Phytoestrogens from the soy plant reinforce the skin’s natural barriers and repair damaged cells that cause dry, rough skin and wrinkle formation. The rich soy masque is a blend of bioactive lipids which are high in vitamin E, helping to promote quick regeneration of the skin cells. Relax and enjoy two facial massages.
VISIBLY FIRMER FACIAL* $90
A mini face-lift in a facial! You'll see results immediately with this blend of skin-enhancing proteins and exfoliating plant enzymes. An incredible combination that dramatically firms facial contours, clears blocked pores and reveals fresh, new, more youthful skin within minutes. You can feel it!
Age Defying Peel $105.00
Reveal younger looking skin with a 30% solution of naturally derived fruit acids formulated exclusively for The Heartland Spa. The outer skin layer is coaxed to release old, unwanted cells and reveal the younger cells below. Our Triple Fruit Acid Gelle works within minutes to smooth fine lines, soften skin discolorations and refine pores. The result is a dramatically smoother look. (This Facial is not recommended for our guests with sensitive skin.)
FULL BACK TREATMENT $60
A deep-pore cleansing and conditioning of the back area. Designed for oily, acne or congested skin. Includes and exfoliation and mud-detox treatment.
STIMULATING SEAWEED FACIAL $95.00
A refreshing treatment designed for unbalanced skin. Several layers of a warm seaweed paraffin-mud masque will detoxify and re-mineralize your skin’s pores. Our vitamin-rich masque is a natural source of moisture. Containing algae, comfrey extracts and kelp, it will stimulate undernourished skin and eliminate tissue inflammation. The seaweed extracts also naturally increase circulation to reveal a younger looking you. And we think it’s a bit “fishy” that our seaweed products smell like...chocolate!
EYE AND LIP REJUVENATION - Add to any facial for $25.00
This remarkable anti-aging treatment gives special attention to these two delicate areas. It is designed to reduce the signs of fatigue and dehydration that can cause dark circles and puffiness around your eyes as well as chapped, peeling lips. Following a cleansing, our powerful gel is gently massaged into your skin on and around your eyelids and lips, allowing the active ingredients, such as ginseng, ginko and biloba, to be fully absorbed. After our firming masque, your eyes will look and feel refreshed; your lips, silky smooth and delightfully “kissable”.
