Essential Oils
Essential oils are used in some of our salon and massage services.  They have extraordinary healing properties—antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic—and are powerful oxygenators, which can strengthen the immune system. They detoxify by forcing metallic chemicals through skin tissue. These oils can travel through your entire body in 20 minutes and can stay in your system, providing your body with the benefits, for up to five months. The Heartland Spa has chosen to use Young Living Essential Oils ™, the highest quality pure essential oils.

The goal of this massage is to reduce or rid pain in a specific problem area, such as neck, shoulder or back.

FULL BODY THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
Your package includes at least one complimentary massage. With the increased activity during your stay, forty minutes of therapeutic massage will reduce muscle soreness, help prevent injury and enhance your performance. These massages are an essential part of your spa program just like the classes and meals.

HEATED BAMBOO MASSAGE  90 MINUTES  $185
A new way to experience a therapeutic full-body massage.  Using natural, renewable bamboo your therapist will apply a rolling technique.  The bamboo sticks vary in length and are heated for deep tissue manipulation.  Release tension and increase lymph and blood circulation.

90-MINUTE CUSTOM MASSAGE  $185
Integrate the techniques of a full-body Swedish Massage with one of five Specialty Massages for the perfect blend of relaxation and therapy.  Combine Swedish with: Pressure points to hands and feet, Ultimate Scalp, Raindrop Technique, Heartland Stone Therapy or Therapeutic Aroma.

SWEDISH RELAXATION MASSAGE 55 miNUTES $95
Our traditional full-body massage alleviates aches and pains, and leaves you feeling completely relaxed from head to toe.

"Soleful" Relaxation Massage  55 minutes  $95
Our therapists have redefined a foot massage.  Curl up with a warm blanket and a heated shoulder pillow while soaking your feet in a basin lined with warmed basalt stones.  A blend of peppermint and grapefruit oils added to the water will create a cooling and energizing effect.  Using a lotion with the same oil blend, the massage begins just below the knee and continues to the tip of your toes—rubbing, compressing, stretching, and range of motion of the ankle.  The massage is applied to your feet, yet the relaxation radiates through your entire body.  This massage is also beneficial to specific conditions such as plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis.

THERAPEUTIC AROMA MASSAGE 55 miNUTES $105
This massage works in combination with pure essential oils to enhance energy flow throughout the body and lymphatic system.

HEARTLAND "SOLE" MASSAGE 55 miNUTES $100
This unique style, in which Therapist use their bare feet to massage, was influenced by Healing Therapies of the Pacific Islands. Our feet have over three thousand nerve endings which allow our skilled Therapists to more quickly and effectively detect areas of tension and entrapment. They have more strength and leverage to manipulate the muscle tissue and release myofacial pain to help the healing process. One foot can do the work of two hands, which means more muscle is massaged with each move. Allow our therapists to nurture you with heart and "sole" while you experience this Island Massage Culture.

CRANIO SACRAL THERAPY 55 miNUTES $100
A light-touch therapy that concentrates on the environment in which our brain and spinal cord develop and function. This system is responsible for the health and well-being of your entire body.

RAINDROP TECHNIQUE 55 miNUTES $125
A detoxifying treatment which incorporates a sequence of seven essential oils designed to reduce inflammation and pain, improve circulation and possibly destroy viral or bacterial agents that may be dormant along the spine.

Thermal Rain Therapy 90 minutes $205
We offer you the best of both, Raindrop Technique and Heartland Stone Therapy, in one service. Cherish the present moment with our Stone Massage; transcend time with our Raindrop Technique. Experience peace-fulness, true harmony… a true sense of balance.

ULTIMATE SCALP MASSAGE 55 miNUTES $95
This concentrated massage uses vigorous and gentle compression, friction and traction to stimulate your scalp and release tension in your head, neck and shoulders. Your therapist will massage a conditioner blended with essential oils into your hair for a deep conditioning treatment.

REIKI 55 miNUTES $100
An ancient system of natural healing that works with the human energy bio-field or aura. Only very light touch is used. This session is quiet and introspective and goals include physical well being and personal growth.

THE HEARTLAND STONE THERAPY 60 mINUTES $120
A comprehensive treatment that empowers you to explore your physical, mental and spiritual connection with the healing properties of hot basalt stones combined with the ancient healing traditions of chakra balancing.
